Description

The Cometic C4318-040 is a Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) head gasket designed for high-output engines. It features load-controlled embossments that distribute load across the sealing area, creating an exceptional seal with less clamp load and reduced bore distortion. The outer stainless steel layers are coated with FKM (Viton) for high temperature and chemical resistance, and a topcoat of PTFE (Teflon) enhances resistance to fret and improves cold sealing.
