Description

The Cometic C4510-080 is a Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) cylinder head gasket designed for high output engines. It features multiple embossed layers of stainless steel with an outer layer utilizing a Viton rubber coating for enhanced sealing. The compressed operating thickness is 0.036 inches and it is designed for a 97mm bore.

MLS gaskets are ideal for both aluminum-to-aluminum and aluminum-to-cast iron block configurations, providing maximum sealing performance without the need for sealants. The multiple layers of stainless steel offer increased strength, rebound capability, and corrosion resistance. The Viton coating on the outer layers is heat-resistant up to 482°F and meets the demands of harsh sealing environments.
