Description

The Cometic C5810-060 is a Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) cylinder head gasket designed for Oldsmobile Gen-2 Rocket V8 engines. It features a compressed operating thickness of 0.060 inches and is constructed from multiple layers of stainless steel for maximum sealing performance.

The outer layers of the gasket are coated with Viton, a heat-resistant elastomer, while the center layer is uncoated stainless steel. This construction provides increased strength, rebound capability, and resistance to corrosion, making it suitable for applications with aluminum heads to aluminum or cast iron blocks. The gasket requires no sealants.
