Description

The Cometic C5846-080 is a Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) cylinder head gasket designed for Pontiac 400, 428, and 455 V8 engines. It features multiple embossed layers of stainless steel with Viton rubber coating on the outer layers, providing a compressed operating thickness of 0.098 inches.

These gaskets offer maximum sealing performance for high-output engines and do not require sealants. They are suitable for applications with both aluminum and cast iron blocks, capable of withstanding shearing forces and resisting corrosion.
