Description

The Cometic Gasket C5778-188 is an intake manifold gasket set designed for Pontiac V8 engines. It features a composite construction with an AFM material, which is a chemically blown, compounded nitrile synthetic rubber bonded to an aluminum core. This gasket offers a temperature resistance of over 250°F and an 85 percent recovery rate.

The AFM material provides strong torque retention and does not require the use of gasket sealers or re-torquing after installation, simplifying the assembly process.
