Description

The Cometic C4287-045 is a Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) cylinder head gasket designed for Volvo B18 and B20 engines. It features a compressed operating thickness of 0.045 inches and an 86mm bore. This gasket provides maximum sealing performance for high-output engines and is suitable for applications with aluminum or cast iron blocks and heads.

Constructed from multiple layers of stainless steel, the MLS design offers increased strength and the ability to rebound, resisting corrosion. The outer layers are embossed and coated with Viton, a heat-resistant rubber material capable of withstanding temperatures up to 250°C (482°F).
