The Cometic Gasket C4559-036 is a Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) head gasket designed for VW/Audi 1.8L 20V Turbo EA827 engines with an 85mm bore. It features multiple embossed layers of stainless steel and an outer layer with a Viton rubber coating for enhanced sealing. The compressed operating thickness is 0.036 inches. This gasket is ideal for high-output engines and can be used with aluminum or cast iron blocks.
