The ProFlex Commander is an adaptive flex fuel system designed for RAM trucks equipped with the 5.7L HEMI V8 engine. This system enables you to leverage the benefits of E85, such as increased power and cooler operating temperatures, while maintaining factory-like drivability. It's a true plug-and-play solution that installs in approximately one hour with basic tools, requiring no specific tuning. Key features of the ProFlex Commander include 100% dyno testing for proven safety, durability, and performance gains. It utilizes patented BlendSense™ technology, which continuously monitors ethanol content and adjusts fuel delivery in real-time with a rapid 30-millisecond refresh rate. This allows for seamless switching between gasoline, E85, or any blend in between without manual map switching or tuning. The system is also compatible with existing stock or performance gas tunes, adapting instantly to any changes. Performance benefits include a 7-10% increase in wheel horsepower and torque when running E85, along with improved injector management for optimized fuel delivery. Additionally, it promotes cleaner emissions and reduces cylinder, oil, and coolant temperatures. The ProFlex Commander is compatible with various power adders and bolt-on modifications. For enhanced user experience, the ProFlex Connect app provides accurate, real-time ethanol content monitoring via Bluetooth on your iPhone or Android device. Cold Start Plus™ technology further aids in easier starting during colder weather conditions. Two main options are available: the Standard Commander, ideal for stock or lightly modified vehicles with factory fuel injectors and naturally aspirated setups, and the Commander Pro, designed for high-performance builds featuring aftermarket forced induction or larger fuel injectors (600cc / 60 lb/hr or bigger). The Standard Commander does not require tuning and is perfect for daily performance builds, while the Commander Pro offers more precise injector management for controlling larger injectors.
