Description

The TIMKEN 12L36251 is a commercial vehicle leather seal designed for durability and performance. It features an oversized, double-walled metal outer diameter to prevent spinning and walking out of the bore hub. The heavy-duty construction of the outer wall effectively transfers heat away from the sealing lip. Additionally, it includes a severe service sleeve that provides a new running surface for worn or damaged axle spindles and protects them during hub removal. The polymer-impregnated leather lip absorbs grit and offers protection across a broad temperature range, outperforming nitrile seals in cold, contaminated environments.
