Description

The TIMKEN 11L40460 is a commercial vehicle leather seal designed for durability and protection. It features a polymer-impregnated leather lip that absorbs grit, offering robust protection across a wide temperature range of -65°F to 170°F (-55°C to 77°C).

This seal is constructed with a heavy-duty metal outer wall that effectively transfers heat away from the sealing lip and an oversized, double-walled metal outer diameter to prevent the seal from spinning or walking out of the bore hub. It also includes a severe service sleeve that provides a new running surface for worn or damaged axle spindles and protects them during hub removal. The TIMKEN 11L40460 outperforms nitrile seals in cold, contaminated environments and is compatible with all natural and synthetic oils and greases.
