Commercial vehicle standard seal (12S46251 A/AM-BBS) with oversized double-walled metal outer diameter to prevent spinning or walking out of the hub bore. Heavy-duty outer wall construction enables effective heat transfer away from the sealing lip. Features unique contaminant exclusion system with three nitrile lip contact barrier points, corrosion-proof spacers with multiple vent holes for lubricant flow, and wide shoulder coverage for protection on worn or damaged axle shoulders. Temperature range: -20°F to 225°F / -29°C to 107°C. Application Summary: TRAILER Axle, Wheel-End Seal.
