The COMP Cams 6500CPG Hi-Tech Belt Drive is designed for extreme applications in high RPM and high compression Chevrolet Small Block engines. It features an infinitely adjustable Vernier sprocket for precise timing and a unique belt idler system to reduce belt flap and absorb crankshaft harmonics, enhancing valvetrain stability. It also includes a shimless camshaft thrust adjustment system and double-lip seals for extended life and maximum crankcase vacuum. This product is ideal for serious street performance and race applications.
