Overview

The COMP Cams CL21-237-4 is a Magnum 280H Hydraulic Flat Tappet Camshaft & Lifter Kit for Chrysler 383-440ci engines manufactured between 1959-1980. It features a hydraulic flat tappet cam style, 280° advertised duration for both intake and exhaust, and a 0.480-inch valve lift. Designed for 9:1-10:1 compression engines, it requires specific stall converters for 383ci (2500+) and 440ci (2000+) engines, and recommends a 700-800 CFM carburetor, headers, and 3.91+ gears for optimal performance. Lifters are included, but valve springs are sold separately. It is not compatible with computer-controlled vehicles and is intended for street/performance use.
