Description

The Comp Cams Thumpr CL12-600-4 is a high-performance hydraulic flat tappet camshaft and lifter kit designed for Chevrolet Small Block engines (262-400 c.i. 8 Cylinder) manufactured between 1958 and 1998. This kit is ideal for street performance applications, offering a noticeable power increase and a distinctive choppy/thumping idle sound. While compatible with stock torque converters, optimal performance is achieved with a 2000+ RPM stall converter and appropriate gearing.
