COMP Cams Cam & Lifter Kit CS 314H-R10

The COMP Cams Magnum 252/252 Hydraulic Roller Cam and Lifter Kit (CL12-470-8) is designed for Chevrolet Small Block engines (262-400 c.i. 8 Cylinder, 1958-1998) for limited street use and bracket racing. This kit requires 10.5:1 compression, a 3500+ stall converter, and 4.10 gearing. It also necessitates headers and a race intake manifold, producing a radical idle. The camshaft features a 252 intake and exhaust duration at .050 inch lift, an advertised intake and exhaust duration of 314, a 110-degree lobe separation, and 0.6 inch intake and exhaust valve lift. It is a hydraulic roller cam with a 3-bolt camshaft gear attachment and is made from austempered ductile iron. Lifters are included, but valve springs are required, and assembly lubricant, timing chain and gears, valve stem seals, retainers, locks, and gaskets are not included. This product is CARB exempt for racing and off-road vehicles only, and for federally/California certified vehicles manufactured before 1967/1965, provided they meet tailpipe emission standards. It is not CARB exempt for on-road vehicles.
