The COMP Cams K31-452-8 Magnum Hyd. Roller Camshaft Kit is designed for Ford 289-302 C.I. 8-cylinder engines from 1963-1995. This is a Hydraulic Roller-Street / Strip only camshaft, recommended for vehicles with a 4-speed transmission and 4.10 or lower gearing. It requires a minimum of 9:1 compression, an aftermarket intake, headers, and a converter. This is a Magnum Retro-Fit Hydraulic Roller Camshaft, specifically for engines that did NOT come from the factory with Hydraulic roller cams, and it is NOT FOR E.F.I. (Electronic Fuel Injection) systems. COMP Cams states that all their camshafts are manufactured to the strictest tolerances and rigorously tested for quality.
