N2O HP 224/236 H-Roller CL-Kit Ford 5.0L

This COMP Cams Nitrous HP Hydraulic Roller Camshaft and Lifter Kit is designed for Ford 5.0L 8 Cyl. engines from 1985-2002. It is suitable for street/strip applications with 100-175 horsepower nitrous kits or medium blowers, and produces a rough idle. The camshafts feature wider lobe separation and added exhaust duration compared to the base XE series, which shifts power to higher RPM for optimal nitrous performance. Early exhaust openings aid in scavenging extra spent gases from nitrous or forced induction, resulting in improved time slips for nitrous passes at the drag strip. While offering enhanced nitrous performance, there is a slight trade-off in torque and responsiveness compared to the base XE family. For best results, use with COMP Cams roller rockers and matched valve springs.
