The COMP Cams CL51-229-3 is a High Energy Hydraulic Flat Tappet Camshaft and Lifter Kit designed for Pontiac 265-455 cubic inch 8-cylinder engines (1955-1981). It provides a smooth idle, strong torque, and improved fuel economy, particularly effective for 326-400 ci engines and is noted as the best cam for 301 ci engines. This kit works well with stock components and is ideal for performance rebuilds.
