Description

The COMP Cams CL51-225-4 cam and lifter kit is designed for Pontiac 265-455ci V-8 engines (1955-1981), offering enhanced performance for street/strip applications. This kit includes the camshaft, lifters, assembly lube, decals, and instructions. It features an operating range of 2300-6500 RPM, with advertised durations of 284° intake and 296° exhaust, and .050" lift durations of 240° intake and 246° exhaust. The valve lift with 1.5 rockers is .507" intake and .510" exhaust, with a 110° lobe separation angle. Requires 9:1+ compression, a 2800+ stall converter, headers, and gears for optimal results, and will produce a rough idle.
