Magnum 230/230 Hyd Flat Cam AMC 290-401

This is a great street machine cam that requires a manifold, a 2500 converter, and lower gears. It's designed for 9:1 compression and will result in a rough idle. The COMP Cams Magnum 280H-10 Hydraulic Camshaft for AMC V8 is a hydraulic flat tappet camshaft with a lift of 0.490/0.490 inches, duration of 280/280, and a 110 LSA (Lobe Separation Angle). It has an RPM range of 2,000-6,000. It is made of cast iron and is designed for American Motors 290-401 c.i. 8 Cylinder engines (1966-1991). Lifters are not included, but valve springs and assembly lubricant are required. It attaches with a 1-bolt camshaft gear. This product is C.A.R.B. exempt for racing and off-road only vehicles, and for federally certified vehicles manufactured before 1967 and California certified vehicles manufactured before 1965, provided they meet tailpipe emission standards for the year of the vehicle.
