Description

The COMP Cams 61-238-5 is a Hi-Tech Mechanical Flat Tappet Camshaft designed for Chevrolet 194-250 c.i. 6 CYL. engines from 1963-1984. It's suitable for mini-stock applications with stock engines where solid lifters can be used. Key specifications include a lift of .513"/.513" (Intake/Exhaust), advertised duration of 264/264, and duration at 0.050 inch lift of 220/220. The camshaft operates in an RPM range of 1500-5500 and features a 108-degree lobe separation angle. It requires valve springs and has specific valve lash settings (Intake: 0.022 in, Exhaust: 0.024 in). This camshaft is not computer-controlled compatible and is intended for strip usage.
