Description

The COMP Cams Magnum series 270H hydraulic flat tappet camshaft offers significant performance gains over stock for Big Block Chevy 396-454ci engines. Designed for engines with 9.5:1+ compression and ideal for use with aftermarket higher stall torque converters, this camshaft provides excellent high-RPM power while maintaining valvetrain durability. It is suitable for daily driven street machines and works well with stock converters and headers. For 1965-66 396/427ci blocks, machining a 3/16'' wide x 7/64'' deep groove in the rear main journal is necessary for oil flow.
