The COMP Cams 11-408-8 is an Xtreme Energy hydraulic roller camshaft designed for Chevrolet Big Block 396-454 cubic inch, 8-cylinder engines (1967-1996). It offers improved torque and mileage, making it suitable for street, performance, RV, and towing use. This cam explicitly excludes 1965-66 396 c.i.d. models with an oiling groove in the rear journal.
