This Comp Cams 21-227-4 BBM XE275HL Xtreme Energy Hi-Lift Hydraulic Flat Tappet Camshaft fits the 383-440 Big Block Chrysler from 1959-1980. Comp designed this cam for street performance/strip use, and it features extra lift for upper RPM power. A 9.0:1 or higher compression ratio and a 2400+ stall speed torque converter are highly recommended. Stock (O.E.) valve springs can NOT be used. Single Bolt. Basic RPM Range: 2000 to 5800. Valve Lift Intake: .525. Valve Lift Exhaust: .525. Advertised Intake Duration: 275. Advertised Exhaust Duration: 287. Intake Duration at .050”: 231. Exhaust Duration at .050”: 237.
