Ideal for use with mainly stock components like rocker arms, intake manifolds, cylinder heads, compression ratio, torque converters and rear gear ratios, the High Energy camshaft grind family is a great choice for street performance applications. Offering a good blend of efficiency and performance, High Energy camshafts area easy on valvetrain components, lessening the likelihood of broken parts.

Replacement for HP 340 and 360 4 BBL motors. Noticeable idle in 318. Works with 3.23-3.55 gear, dual exhaust and 9:1 compression.

This Comp Cams 20-212-2 SBM 268H High Energy Hydraulic Flat Tappet Camshaft fits the 273-360 Small Block Chrysler from 1964-2002. Comp designed this cam for street/strip use, and it features a noticeable idle. A 9.0:1 or higher compression ratio, dual exhaust, 3.23 - 3.55 gears and a 1900+ stall speed torque converter are highly recommended. Comp Cams designed this Hydraulic Flat Tappet camshaft for high performance on the street and drag strip. Stock (O.E.) valve springs can NOT be used.
