Description

This COMP Cams hydraulic flat tappet camshaft is designed for Small Block Chevy 262-400ci engines from 1955-1998. It features a lift of .447"/.447" and an RPM range of 1800-5800. This camshaft will increase performance but may result in a rougher idle. It requires specific valve springs for proper operation and is explicitly for flat tappet designs, excluding LT1/LT4 and LS-based engines. A groove on the 5th cam journal is required for 1955-1957 Chevrolet 265 engines for oiling.
