Description

The COMP Cams 34-229-4 is a Magnum Hydraulic Flat Tappet Camshaft designed to enhance engine performance in Ford 429-460 engines. It controls the opening and closing of intake and exhaust valves, increasing performance at the expense of a potentially rougher idle. This camshaft delivers great high RPM power and is compatible with mild ratio rocker arms and traditional performance valve springs, recommended for use with an aftermarket torque converter and engines with a compression ratio of 9.5:1 or higher.
