This camshaft is intended for Chevrolet Big Block 396-454 c.i.d. engines from 1967-1996. However, it is crucial to note that 1965-1966 396 c.i.d. models with an oiling groove in the rear journal are not compatible with this camshaft. Additionally, this camshaft is CARB exempt for racing and off-road only vehicles, provided they are competition-only vehicles.
