This Comp Cams Magnum 236/236 Hydraulic Flat Cam for Chevrolet Small Block is designed for street/strip usage. It requires 9:1 compression, a 2800+ stall converter, headers, and gears for optimal performance. It produces a choppy idle. It is part of the Magnum series, offering great high RPM power while being easy on valvetrain parts, and can be used with mild ratio rocker arms and traditional performance valve springs.
