The K12-601-4 Thumpr Hydraulic Flat Tappet Camshaft Kit is designed for Chevrolet 262-400 c.i. 8-cylinder Small Block Engines (1958-1998) with flat tappet cams. This kit is intended for high-performance street/strip applications, delivering strong horsepower gains and a broad torque curve suitable for muscle cars and street rods. It features early intake valve opening and long exhaust duration for a powerful, aggressive exhaust note. Recommended for use with aftermarket converters, aggressive rear gears, and requires a minimum of 9:1 compression, a 2500+ stall converter, an upgraded intake, gears, and headers.
