Magnum 252/252 Hyd Roller K-Kit for SBC

The COMP Cams SK12-470-8 is a Magnum Hydraulic Roller Camshaft Small Kit for Chevrolet Small Block engines with 262-400 cubic inch displacement, covering model years 1958-1998. This kit features a .600"/.600" valve lift, 314°/314° advertised duration, 252°/252° duration at .050" lift, and a 110° lobe separation angle. The optimal operating RPM range is 3500-6500. Designed for performance-oriented vehicles, this aggressive camshaft is suitable for limited street use and bracket racing. It requires a minimum of 10.5:1 compression, a 3500+ stall speed torque converter, 4.10 gearing, headers, and a race intake manifold. The camshaft produces a radical idle. This camshaft is optimized for use with a Melanized or Nitrided distributor gear. It is not compatible with cast or steel gears without similar surface treatments.
