The COMP Cams SK31-246-3 is a hydraulic flat tappet camshaft kit designed for Ford 289-302 C.I. 8-cylinder engines from 1963-1995. It is engineered for strong torque and throttle response, ideal for street carbureted applications with a 2500+ stall. This camshaft kit features quicker opening lobe profiles for increased responsiveness and improved vacuum for power brakes. Best performance is achieved with aftermarket intake manifolds, headers, and lower gear ratios. Specifications include an intake duration of 230 and exhaust duration of 236 at 0.050" lift, with a lobe separation of 110 degrees, and an RPM range of 1800 to 6000. The kit includes lifters, timing chain and gears, and assembly lubricant, but does not include valve springs, retainers, locks, valve stem seals, pushrods, rocker arms, or gaskets.
