The COMP Cams Evolution HCT (Hydraulic Cartridge Technology) lifters are engineered to provide consistent and quiet operation while meeting the demands of modern engine builds at higher RPMs. They feature a self-contained hydraulic cartridge and reduced oil volume, which minimizes the effects of oil aeration, leading to more consistent bleed rates between lifters. The smaller volume within the hydraulic cartridge contributes to a responsive and quiet lifter, reducing startup noise and ensuring excellent high-RPM performance due to a precision-controlled bleed-down rate. The patented cartridge design also creates a stiff lifter body, reducing distortion and maintaining consistent hydraulic performance. These lifters are a new bespoke design, not just a performance OEM replacement, developed for demanding performance and durability needs. Additionally, the hydraulic element of these lifters is serviceable, allowing for rebuilding.
