The lifter is constructed with a special powdered metal iron alloy for the pushrod seat, heat-treated for strength and wear resistance. It utilizes a longer piston than conventional lifters, providing increased load-bearing surface and longevity, along with a lightweight check valve disc for quicker response and enhanced control at all engine speeds.
