Description

The COMP Cams 15854-2 is a pair of retro-fit hydraulic roller lifters designed for Big Block Chevy engines with an OE flat tappet camshaft. These lifters feature a short travel design to maximize performance and durability at higher engine speeds by limiting internal piston movement. This prevents issues like open valves and potential engine damage caused by lifter pump-up.
The lifters have a REM-finished surface that is black oxided to reduce friction, wear, and lubrication temperatures, contributing to both performance and an attractive appearance. They have a .842-inch diameter and a 2.66-inch seat height, with a recommended preload of .005 inches and a weight of 150 grams.
