D-Taper 8.250" .165" Wall 7/16" Pushrods

The COMP Cams 8662-16 Hi-Tech Dual Taper Push Rods are designed for racing and high-performance applications. These pushrods feature a unique dual taper design with a 7/16" diameter in the middle and narrower ends, offering the rigidity of a 7/16" pushrod with the clearance of a 3/8" option, especially beneficial for higher-flowing intake ports. They are also tapered to clear the top of most offset roller lifters, and both 5/16" ball ends have a 210° radius for additional clearance to the rocker arm adjuster at peak lift. Constructed in the U.S.A from one-piece, heat-treated 4130 chromemoly steel tubing with a thicker .165" wall, they are designed to be stiffer and stronger than many other pushrods, providing more accurate valve motion and durability.
