Overview
Designed for use with valve springs that have an outside diameter of 1.437-1.5 inches, they feature 10-degree lock angles and specific OD steps of 1.375 in. x 1.035 in. x 0.710 in. They are 30 percent stronger than conventional chromoly steel retainers.

COMP Cams Lightweight Tool Steel Retainers for #26955, #26956, #26957 springs provide the best of all valve train benefits: light weight, as well as exceptional strength and wear characteristics. Approximately 33% lighter than conventional chromemoly Steel retainers and only 2-4 grams heavier than titanium (depending upon application), they are made from high-grade Tool Steel, making them able to withstand even the most demanding Race Applications.
CNC-machined for consistency, these 7 degree lightweight tool steel retainers feature light weight, exceptional strength and wear characteristics. Fit engines with 1.437"-1.500" O.D. valve springs such as our 26955, 29656 and 26957 springs.
