Description

The COMP Cams 978-12 is a set of dual valve springs designed for high-performance engines. These springs feature an outside diameter of 1.460 inches and an inside diameter of 0.697 inches. They are rated at 127 lbs of seat load at 1.850 inches and 369 lbs of open load at 1.250 inches.

The springs have a maximum valve lift of 0.595 inches and a coil bind height of 1.195 inches. The spring rate is 403 lbs/in. They are intended for use with specific COMP Cams components, such as the 972-974 camshaft series.
