Overview

The COMP Cams 986-12 is a set of dual valve springs designed for applications with increased lift. These springs feature an outside diameter of 1.430 inches and an inside diameter of 0.697 inches. They are rated with a spring rate of 322 lbs/in, a seat load of 132 lbs at 1.750 inches, and an open load of 293 lbs at 1.250 inches. The coil bind height is 1.150 inches, and the maximum recommended valve lift is 0.540 inches.
