The Ferrea Racing Components F2375P intake valves are engineered for enhanced performance in Ford EcoBoost 2.3L engines. Manufactured using special aerospace-quality alloys like EV8-Z18, these valves offer high tensile strength. An exclusive two-step slow forging process ensures optimal grain flow and material integrity, followed by a 48-hour heat treatment and stress-relief period. These valves feature an S-Flo design with a 33mm head diameter, 5.47mm stem diameter, 103.55mm overall length, and a 22-degree angle. They are also a +.5mm oversize for increased flow. The finish includes avionics-quality hard chrome with a specially applied hard tip, contributing to an optimum balance of flow, velocity, and efficiency through smoother radiuses and unique undercuts. The design aims to combat increased Exhaust Gas Temperatures (EGTs) found in modern competition engines, which can reduce valve longevity and create metallurgical fatigue.
