Overview

The Mishimoto Compact Baffled Oil Catch Can is a 2-port oil separator designed to defend your intercooler and intake system from oil blow-by. It features a 50-micron bronze filter to separate oil particles from PCV/CCV air. Constructed from 100-percent billet 6061 aluminum, this sealed can is serviceable and safe for pressurized applications.

This device utilizes an internal air diverter to increase air turbulence, ensuring that oil condenses and collects at the bottom of the can. A 50-micron bronze filter then allows only clean air to pass through to the intake, while an internal baffle prevents oil from splashing during aggressive driving conditions. Constructed from 100-percent billet 6061 aluminum, this sealed catch can is designed for durability and serviceability. It features M16 x 1.5 threads for the inlet, outlet, and drain, and includes two black anodized, CNC-machined aluminum fittings with 1/2-inch barbs for straightforward installation. The can is sealed with Viton™ O-Rings to prevent any collected blow-by from escaping. Unlike many air-oil-separator (AOS) systems that drain collected contaminants back into the oil pan, this catch can permanently traps them, helping to maintain proper octane levels and reduce the risk of detonation. Installation is made easier with a universal mounting bracket that allows for mounting from multiple angles. The drain plug is removable for convenient return to the oil pan, and the entire can is washable, eliminating the need for filter replacement. This compact baffled oil catch can is safe for pressurized applications and is backed by the Mishimoto Lifetime Warranty.
