A 50-micron bronze filter further ensures that only clean air passes through to your intake, safeguarding critical components like the intercooler and intake manifold from detrimental oil blow-by. Key features of this oil catch can include an internal baffle that prevents oil from splashing during aggressive driving or racing conditions. The can is designed with one inlet and one outlet, facilitating straightforward installation into your PCV and CCV systems. It utilizes Viton™ O-Rings for a reliable seal, keeping all captured blow-by contained. The unit is entirely washable and serviceable, offering a cost-effective and environmentally friendly alternative to disposable filters. Unlike some air-oil separator (AOS) systems, this catch can does not heat the collected vapors, allowing for the condensation and capture of low-octane oil and contaminated fuel vapors, which are then trapped permanently rather than being returned to the oil pan.
