The Rockford Fosgate PMX-3 is a robust digital media receiver engineered for demanding marine and motorsports environments. Its design prioritizes both functionality and durability, featuring a 2.7-inch full-color TFT display that is optically wet-bonded to prevent dust and moisture intrusion. The unit boasts an IPX6 marine-grade rating, ensuring protection against powerful water jets. This receiver serves as a comprehensive command center for your audio system. It offers SiriusXM tuner compatibility, allowing you to tune into satellite radio. For music streaming and control, it supports Pandora radio via USB or Bluetooth, and provides full iPhone support with folder browsing capabilities. It also integrates Bluetooth streaming audio (A2DP version 1.4) and is made for iPhone certified, capable of displaying album art from connected iPhones. In terms of power and connectivity, the PMX-3 features an internal amplifier capable of 4x50W at 2 ohms, or you can utilize its front and rear/sub RCA outputs (2V RMS) to connect external amplifiers for increased power. It includes a reverse camera composite video input with reverse trigger control, along with a day/night display mode for enhanced viewing. Additional features include an EEPROM memory system to retain settings, a custom GUI interface, and wired remote expansion capabilities, supporting up to three remotes. The unit is built to withstand harsh conditions, with ASTM B117 salt fog and D4329 UV exposure testing.
