Overview

This is particularly relevant as Mazda itself incorporated an oil separator on the 2004-05 Mazdaspeed models. This specific kit features a smaller canister, measuring about 4.5 inches in height and 2 inches in diameter, making it ideal for installations where space is limited. The unit requires disassembly for emptying and includes all the necessary fittings for a straightforward installation on compatible Miata models. This particular Moroso air/oil separator kit is compatible with all NA and NB Miatas, including those equipped with ABS, covering model years 1990-1997 and 1999-2005. Some users have noted that while the kit is of good quality, it may be beneficial to procure additional hose clamps, as they are not always included.
