This subwoofer is best used with a sealed or ported enclosure and is recommended to be paired with 300 watts RMS of amplifier power.

The Kicker CompC 12-inch subwoofer (44CWCD124) delivers high-performance bass with a dual 4-ohm voice coil configuration. Its construction includes an injection-molded polypropylene cone, a ribbed polyurethane surround, and high-strength Spiralead™ tinsel leads for durability. The stamped steel basket houses a high-temperature voice coil, and perimeter venting is integrated for effective thermal management, ensuring consistent output during demanding use. This subwoofer is designed to work best in either a sealed or ported enclosure, with Kicker recommending 300 watts RMS of power for optimal performance. The speaker terminals are spring-loaded for easy connection. It has a sensitivity of 88.3 dB and a frequency response of 27-500 Hz. Mounting specifications include a depth of 5-3/8 inches and a diameter of 11 inches. Minimum and maximum sealed box volumes range from 1.25 to 3.5 cubic feet, while vented box volumes range from 1.75 to 2.25 cubic feet. Please note that performance may vary with enclosure size and music program material, and amplifier clipping should be minimized.
