Overview

The Eagle Competition Assembly is a rotating assembly designed for Ford BB (545) 460 applications. It features a 4.390" bore and a 4.500" stroke, resulting in an actual displacement of 545 cubic inches.

The assembly includes an Eagle 4340 forged steel crankshaft, Mahle forged 4032 aluminum pistons with an inverted dome, and 6.700" Eagle 4340 H-beam connecting rods with ARP capscrews. It also comes with plasma moly file-fit rings and King Pro-Series rod and main bearings.

This rotating assembly is designed for Ford BB (545) 460 engines and offers a significant displacement increase to 545 cubic inches with its 4.390" bore and 4.500" stroke. Key components include a robust Eagle 4340 forged steel crankshaft and Mahle forged 4032 aluminum pistons featuring an inverted dome design with a -38cc volume. The connecting rods are 6.700" Eagle 4340 H-beam units, secured with 7/16" ARP 8740 capscrews. Further enhancing its performance and durability, the assembly is equipped with plasma moly file-fit rings and King Pro-Series rod and main bearings. Compression ratios are listed as 10.5:1 with 70cc combustion chambers, 9.7:1 with 80cc, and 9.1:1 with 90cc. Piston pins are included. Note: Some parts may not be legal for use in California or other states with similar laws and/or regulations. This assembly is intended for internal balancing.
