The IPD 986 Boxster S 3.2L Competition 74mm Plenum is an engine performance upgrade designed for 2000-2004 Porsche Boxster S models with a 3.2L engine. This plenum upgrade, combined with a larger 74mm throttle body, allows for improved airflow and intake air velocity, leading to increased power and torque.

The IPD Competition Air Intake Plenum is engineered to boost performance for the Porsche 986 Boxster S 3.2L models from 2000-2004. This direct replacement design aims to provide significant power and torque gains throughout the entire RPM range, particularly in the midrange. It achieves this by distributing airflow more effectively through a true merge collector and reducing pressure drop at the throttle body inlet. This plenum upgrade requires the installation of a larger 74mm throttle body, as the factory 68mm unit is not sufficient for optimal performance. A compatible 74mm throttle body is available separately. The IPD Competition Air Intake Plenum is specifically designed to fit the 2000-2004 Porsche 986 Boxster S 3.2L models, including the 2004 Special Edition. Please ensure your vehicle's year, make, and model are accurately selected during checkout to guarantee proper fitment.
