The VRSF Competition HD Front Mount Intercooler Heat Exchanger Upgrade is engineered for 2016-2019 BMW models equipped with B46, B48, and B58 engines, including the 120i, M140i, M240i, 320i, 340i, 420i, and 440i variants. This upgrade directly replaces the factory intercooler, which is often overwhelmed by increased boost levels and airflow, leading to heat soak and potential power loss. This improved cooling performance translates to higher horsepower gains, reduced risk of pre-detonation and knock, and enhanced overall engine reliability. The intercooler boasts a black powder-coated finish and comes with CNC-machined, plug-and-play fittings for a straightforward installation.
