The IL Motorsport competition engine mount pair is designed for 2006-2015 NC Miatas. These mounts are constructed from rubber that is 40% stiffer than stock to better control engine movement under power. This increased stiffness can lead to easier shifting due to reduced transmission movement and a more direct feel.

Stock engine mounts can crack over time, especially with high-power engines. The IL Motorsport competition mounts address this by providing a more robust solution. However, be aware that there is an increase in noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH) with these stiffer mounts.

The IL Motorsport competition engine mount pair is engineered for Mazda NC Miatas from model years 2006 to 2015, including PRHT models. Stock engine mounts are prone to failure, with factory units sometimes cracking after as few as 60,000 miles, particularly in vehicles with high-power engines. These IL Motorsport competition mounts feature rubber that is 40% stiffer than OEM specifications. This enhanced rigidity significantly reduces engine and transmission movement during acceleration, leading to a more controlled driving experience and improved shift feel by minimizing missed shifts. Installation of these competition-grade mounts will result in an increase in noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH) within the cabin. Drivers who prioritize a quieter ride, especially with the top up, may wish to consider stock replacement parts instead. These mounts are sold as a pair, sufficient for one vehicle.
