The Wagner Tuning Competition Intercooler Kit is engineered to significantly enhance the performance of VAG 1.8TSI and 2.0TSI engines. This kit boasts a substantial core size of 640mm x 410mm x 65mm, offering a 90% increase in volume over the stock intercooler. Its design focuses on improving flow rating and charge cooling properties by increasing the intercooler core size and efficiency while refining the endtank design to eliminate OEM bottlenecks. Constructed with award-winning Wagner Tuning competition intercooler cores featuring internal turbulators, this kit also includes cast aluminum endtanks optimized via CFD for superior internal airflow. The intercooler is equipped with additional air guides and an internal inlet to ensure uniform filling and excellent cooling performance with minimal pressure drop compared to the stock unit. Despite its large size, the complete intercooler weighs only 8.9kg. The inlets and outlets have been enlarged to 70mm, and the kit includes reinforced silicone hoses for installation.
